Mark O'Connor - Concert September 3rd
Mark O'Connor is our featured guest artist for our annual fund-raising concert this year. Mark will be performing at the Colonial theater in Idaho Falls Saturday, September 3rd at 7:30 PM. There will be a free workshop at 10:00 AM the same day at the Colonial Theater.
All proceeds from the concert benefit the Strings for Kids program.

Strings for Kids is a non-profit organization started in 2004 and based in Idaho Falls, ID. Since it's inception well over 300 children have learned to play stringed instruments at no cost!
What is the strings for kids program?
Strings for kids is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help qualified and deserving students gain an appreciation for music by providing stringed instruments and lessons at little or no cost to students or their families. The scope of this mission is to target children between the ages of 5-12 who show desire, musical potential and/or financial need.
Who is Eligible?
All students from Idaho Falls and surrounding areas who are currently in the first through sixth grade who have a strong desire to play music are eligible for this program. Eligibility will be based on musical potential, teacher recommendation, financial need and a personal interview.
